VGCC to hold mountain landscape painting workshop

Vance-Granville Community College has scheduled a new, one-day art workshop, called “Painting Mountain Landscapes in Oil,” for Friday, April 17, from noon until 5 p.m.

 

The class be held in room 5230 (Building 5) on the college’s Main Campus in Vance County.

 

Professional artist and educator M. Theresa Brown of Franklinton is the instructor. She will teach students how to paint snow-capped mountain scenes using “wet-on-wet” oil painting techniques.

 

The cost of the class is $35, and the deadline to register is April 10.

 

Registration for these or other Personal Enrichment courses can be completed online at vgcc.springerstudios.net/coned/personal-interest or in person at Main Campus, Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
