VGCC Team Raises Money To Support March of Dimes

More than 20 VGCC staff, students and family members walked in the March of Dimes WalkAmerica 2002 in Henderson on April 20 and collected $2,483.11 to help ensure the birth of healthy babies.

Captains Maria Bailey, Tonya Owen, Lori Forsythe and Susan Miller organized the college’s effort this year. In addition to those four, walkers included Lori’s daughter, Amanda; Denise Gill; Michael Davis; Heather Lynch and daughter, Brittany; Susan Williamson and daughter, Caroline; Audrey Stainback and daughter, Megan (in her stroller); Sheila McCall; Ernestine Peace; Debra Hughes and Debra’s mother, Sue Day; Mary McMannen and daughters, Aree (also in stroller) and Keshonda; Deanna Ball; Stephanie Carter; Harry Bryan; and ADN students Amanda Hilliard, Sylvia Fairchild, Jamie Spencer and Shelley Fields.
