VGCC South Campus offers help Finding, Getting Ready for New Jobs

Vance-Granville Community College’s South Campus, located on N.C. 56 between Creedmoor and Butner, will be the site for upcoming courses offered by the college’s Human Resources Development (HRD) Department. HRD classes are designed to help the unemployed and the underemployed with career planning, including job-seeking and job-keeping skills. HRD classes are free to qualified applicants, including those who are unemployed.

An HRD course called “Career Planning/Job Search” will be offered May 18 through July 2, Monday through Wednesday, from 9 a.m. until noon in the South Campus HRD Lab.

A “Job Readiness” course will be offered Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. at the same location. The class is available from May 26 through July 9.

For more information on these classes, call South Campus Director Jason Snelling at (919) 528-4737.
