VGCC Seminar Focuses on Planning Charitable Giving

Vance-Granville Community College and AXA Advisors, LLC will present a free seminar, entitled “Layman’s Guide to Charitable Giving and Financial Planning,” on Oct. 17 from 6 until 8 p.m. in Building 9 on the college’s main campus in Vance County. Heavy hors d’oeuvres will be provided for attendees.

Through the seminar, individuals will receive guidance on achieving their financial goals. Helpful concepts and approaches to charitable giving and tax law information will be introduced by a professional financial planning specialist. The session is designed to help individuals and organizations understand the many ways that charitable giving can preserve wealth during one’s life and ensure donations are properly directed at one’s death.
