VGCC Seminar focuses on Personal Relationships in Business

Vance-Granville Community College’s Small Business Center will present a free seminar, entitled “Making Relationships ‘Magical’ in the Workplace,” on Wednesday, April 20. The seminar will be held from 9 a.m. until Noon in room 7107 of Building 7 on the college’s main campus in Vance County.

Seminar instructor John Formica of Charlotte will help participants learn how to improve interpersonal relationships and communication in various contexts, including clients, customers, co-workers, bosses and even family members. He will offer tips on listening and avoiding misunderstandings, becoming more effective in sales and relationships that lead to profits, and getting along with anyone in the workplace. Formica hopes to help local businesses to boost sales, increase productivity, and foster collaboration and harmony among team members.

VGCC Small Business Center Director Diane Finch advised that space is limited for this free seminar. To reserve a seat, pre-register by calling the Small Business Center at (252) 738-3275 or 738-3240.
