VGCC Schedules Evening Nursing Assistant Classes At South Campus

The next Nursing Assistant I course at Vance-Granville Community College’s South Campus will begin Mary 28.

This will be an evening course, with classes from 5 to 9 p.m., Monday-Thursday, for 10 weeks. Registration for the course will be held at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, May 21. Cost of the course is $80, plus books and uniforms.

Julie Capriola, VGCC director of Nursing Assistant training, said jobs are plentiful for graduates of the course at nursing homes, hospitals, clinics and doctors’ offices in the area.
