VGCC offers summer Quilting classes

Vance-Granville Community College will offer quilt-making classes this summer for area residents. Students may attend the ten-week class either during the day, on Wednesdays from 9 a.m. until noon, starting June 10, or during the evening, on Thursdays from 6:30 until 9:30 p.m., starting June 11.

Quilting instructor Peggy Stocks encourages both beginners and seasoned quilters to sign up for the classes, which are held in room 5201 on the college’s main campus in Vance County.

The cost to register is $45, plus a $1 security/access fee.
