VGCC Offers Computer Class for Teachers

Vance-Granville Community College has scheduled a course that appeals particularly to teachers on summer break. The course, “Teacher Renewal: Basics of a Computerized Classroom,” was developed with educators in mind, but anyone can attend. Students will cover the basics of using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint in a classroom setting.The eight-class course is offered in two different sessions, both held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8 a.m. until noon in Room 7100 (Building 7) on the college’s main campus. The first session will run from June 11 through July 11 (excluding the week of July 4), and the second will be held from July 16 through August 8.
