VGCC offers Career Planning class at Warren Library

Vance-Granville Community College will partner with Warren County Memorial Library to offer a course that helps area residents who are trying to obtain employment. The “Career Planning” course will be held Tuesday through Thursday from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the library on Front Street in Warrenton, starting May 5 and continuing until June 2.

Participants in the class will receive assistance with resume development and learning job-seeking skills. The course is offered by VGCC’s Human Resources Development (HRD) Department. HRD classes are designed to help the unemployed and the underemployed with career planning and workplace skills. HRD classes are free to qualified applicants, including those who are unemployed.
