VGCC offers basic computer course at Perry Memorial Library

Vance-Granville Community College will offer a “Beginner’s Guide to Computers & Internet” class at the H. Leslie Perry Memorial Library in Henderson on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m., Feb. 12 through March 13.

Students will learn the basics of computers, explore the Internet, and set up an account to send and receive email. “For those of you who need to know more about your computer or about the Internet, this class is designed for beginners with limited experience,” said VGCC Computer Center coordinator Laura Peace.

The Perry Memorial Library is conveniently located on Breckenridge Street in Henderson, with excellent parking adjacent to the facility.

The registration fee is $55.
