VGCC Franklin Campus hosts “Vision Board” classes

Vance-Granville Community College will offer one-night classes that use the popular “Vision Board” format to help participants set goals and turn dreams into reality.

The class will be offered three times, on Tuesday, June 2; Tuesday, June 9; and Monday, June 22, each time from 6 until 9 p.m., at VGCC’s Franklin County Campus near Louisburg.

In this informative class, event planner and vision strategist Lisa D. Jacobs of Raleigh will teach participants how to create a vision board, which is traditionally a collection of images and notes attached to a poster board. The board is a visual representation of what its creator wants to do or be, and is prominently placed so that its creator can see it and draw inspiration from it daily.

Jacobs promises a fun, interaction session, in which participants will learn “how to dream big dreams, how to see your life as a life of possibilities and how to plan for your future.” She adds, “This class will take you on an adventure of one glorious afternoon of laughter, fun, and sharing to make your dreams a reality.”

The instructor will walk students through how to avoid the most common vision board mistakes and explain “what it takes to make your vision board work for you.”

The cost of the class is $50.
