VGCC Franklin Campus holds Exercise Class

The holidays are over, and many people made New Year’s resolutions to get into shape. Vance-Granville Community College’s Franklin County Campus has a way to keep such a resolution and get ready for summer. The campus, located on N.C. 56 about one mile west of Louisburg, is offering a Low Impact Aerobics class on Tuesdays and Thursdays, going on now through May 8, from 6:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.

James Williamson, the Director of Campus Safety and Police at Louisburg College, will serve as the instructor.

“Come join us for an hour of fitness and fun,” said Franklin Campus director Anthony Pope. “Chief Williamson will help you to work those bodies back into shape so that you’ll feel better, look better and have the energy to keep up with your busy schedules.”

Aerobic exercise includes any type of exercise, typically performed at moderate levels of intensity for extended periods of time, that maintains an increased heart rate.
