Registration for VGCC Summer term begins April 19

Summer curriculum classes at Vance-Granville Community College begin on May 24, and students can begin registration in April. The summer course schedule is now available on VGCC’s web site by clicking on “ Web Advisor ,” then “Prospective Students” and finally “Curriculum Course Schedules.”

Currently enrolled students can register online or at VGCC’s four campuses on Monday, April 19 and Tuesday, April 20. Those students who are closer to graduating (40 or more total credit hours) will be able to register on April 19, while students with between 12 and 39 total credit hours will be able to register on April 20. All new and returning students may register Wednesday, April 21 and Thursday, April 22, and later on Thursday, May 20 and Friday, May 21. Hours for registration are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday-Thursday, and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday. Students now have the option of registering for classes online through the WebAdvisor system. Detailed information regarding online registration can be found in the printed “ARCHES” schedules.

Students may pay, verify payment or charge tuition and fees at the VGCC Business Office on Main Campus (or at the campus where they are enrolled) on the same days as registration. The Main Campus Business Office hours of operation during registration are 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Monday-Thursday, and 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Fridays. The payment deadline for early registration is May 6 at 5 p.m. For students registering May 20-21, the payment deadline is May 21 at 3 p.m. Students also have the new option of securely paying their tuition and fees online (by Visa or MasterCard) through the WebAdvisor system.
