Registration for Summer begins April 20

Summer curriculum classes at Vance-Granville Community College begin on May 21, and students can begin registration in April. The summer course schedule is now available on VGCC’s web site (vgcc.springerstudios.net) under “ Schedules .”

Current students returning for another semester can start registration and advising at VGCC’s four campuses on Monday, April 20. New and returning students may register Tuesday, April 21 through Thursday, April 23, and later on Tuesday, May 19 and Wednesday, May 20. Hours for registration are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Orientation sessions for new students in curriculum programs will be held on Thursday, May 14 (9 a.m. and 5 p.m.) in the Civic Center on VGCC’s main campus in Vance County. Orientation sessions are also available at South Campus in Granville County on Wednesday, May 6 at 5:30 p.m. and Thursday, May 7 at 9 a.m., and at the Franklin County Campus on Tuesday, May 12 at 5 p.m.

Students may pay, verify payment or charge tuition and fees at the VGCC Business Office on Main Campus (or at the campus where they are enrolled) on the same days as registration and pick up their official schedules. The Main Campus Business Office hours of operation during registration are 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Monday-Thursday, and 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Fridays. The payment deadline for early registration is May 7 at 5 p.m. For students registering May 19-20, the payment deadline is May 20 at 6 p.m.
