Popular Computer Classes Begin Soon At Vance-Granville Community College

Three of the most popular and most-needed computer classes offered by Vance-Granville Community College’s Computer Center will be starting up in the next few weeks on the main campus in Vance County.

Intermediate Excel 2003, which teaches more advanced spreadsheet functions, will begin May 16 and run through May 30. This class is held on Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Word Processing 2003, which provides instruction and practice in the functions of computer word processing, will be held on Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., beginning May 17 and concluding May 31.

Computer Center Director Laura Peace will be the instructor for these two classes.

An Accounting Quickbooks class will begin June 5 and run through July 31 on Monday evenings from 6 to 9. Tim Baines is the instructor for Quickbooks.

All the classes will be held in Room 7100 of Building 7. Cost of each class is $55.
