James Harris Dies After Sudden Illness

The VGCC staff on Main Campus was shocked and saddened by the sudden death of James Melvin “Chicken” Harris, a maintenance assistant for Vance-Granville Community College. Painting By Franklin CE Student Chosen For System Office Exhibit

N.C. Community College System President Martin Lancaster has chosen about 100 works of art for exhibit during 2002 in the system office headquarters in the Caswell Building in Raleigh, and a Vance-Granville representative from Franklin County has been chosen.
