New AutoCad Class Added By VGCC Computer Center

Vance-Granville Community College has added a new class to its Computer Center offerings that will teach students computer-aided drafting.

This AutoCad class will be held on Tuesdays from 6 to 9 p.m. from June 6 to Sept. 19 in Room 7136 on the VGCC main campus in Vance County. Students will need basic computer skills in order to take the AutoCad class.

Gilbert Blaylock, who has 35 years teaching experience and who works in computer graphics for industry, will be the course instructor.

The AutoCad class will be a prerequisite for an architectural drawing class the Computer Center plans to offer this fall.
