Watkins Broadcast
Moved Up One Week

The UNC-TV broadcast of “North Carolina People” featuring Embassy Square Foundation chairman Sam Watkins will be shown a week earlier than originally planned, according to an announcement from the show’s producer.

Dr. William Friday’s interview of Watkins, taped on April 5, will be aired on Friday, April 28, at 9 p.m. and on Sunday, April 30, at 5:30 p.m. on the UNC network, said Bobby Dobbs.

The show had originally been scheduled for broadcast on May 5 and May 7.

The change in schedule will not affect another Vance County related broadcast, Friday’s interview with Randy Parker, president of Vance-Granville Community College. Parker’s interview is still scheduled for May 19 and May 21, Dobbs said.
