Two sign onto VGCC Volleyball squad

Vance-Granville Community College recently signed a pair of student-athletes to join the 2015 Vanguards women’s volleyball team: Morgan Carter of Norlina and Melissa Elliott of Townsville.

Carter (pictured above, left) graduated from Warren New Tech High School and played volleyball for three seasons at Warren County High School. She is now enrolled in the College Transfer program at VGCC, with plans to complete a degree in Elementary Education at East Carolina University.

Elliott (pictured above, right) graduated from Northern Vance High School, where she was a setter and defensive specialist on the Vikings volleyball team. She is enrolled in the College Transfer program with plans to apply to the VGCC Radiography program.
