VGCC Vanguards sign Foster to basketball squad

Reatt Marquis Foster of Hartsville, S.C., recently signed a letter of intent to join the men’s basketball team at Vance-Granville Community College next season. Foster is pictured above (right), signing his letter with his uncle, Anthony Merchant, at left. Standing in back is Matthew Johnson, assistant coach for the VGCC Vanguards.

Foster (6’1″) is a graduate of Hartsville High School and was a guard on the team that won the South Carolina 3A state championship in 2013. He is the third recruit this year that VGCC has signed from South Carolina, following Rayshon Andrews of Darlington and Tyrell Sabb of Latta.
