VGCC offers Leadership Class at Franklin Campus

Vance-Granville Community College, in partnership with N.C. Cooperative Extension, will offer a one-day leadership class at the college’s Franklin County Campus . The class is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 8 from 9:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. (including a one-hour break for lunch) at the campus, which is located on N.C. Highway 56 just outside Louisburg.

 

Rachel Monteverdi, a Family and Consumer Sciences agent with the N.C. Cooperative Extension office in Franklin County, will serve as instructor for the class, which will appeal not only to leaders of local businesses and organizations, but also to the general public and those interested in serving their communities. Monteverdi will discuss several different concepts related to leadership, including Stephen Covey’s “Seven Habits of Highly Effective People.”

 

The cost of the class is $49 (including all fees and materials).
