Eight CNA Program Graduates honored at VGCC South Campus

Vance-Granville Community College recently honored eight students who completed the Certified Nursing Assistant I program at the college’s South Campus in Granville County. Their graduation ceremony was held on July 25 at South Campus .

 

South Campus Director Derrick Cameron welcomed and congratulated the graduates. Lonnie Wright made remarks on behalf of his fellow students, and Cynthia McCuiston and Vicki Watkins, the instructors for the class, presented certificates to graduates. Pastor Virgil Nolen closed the program with a benediction.

 

The CNA program graduates included, pictured above, in front row, from left: Karen S. Nolen of Oxford, Amanda J. Newton of Creedmoor, Ashley B. Clagg of Raleigh and Jacqueena L. Yarborough of Creedmoor; in back row, from left: class instructor Vicki Watkins, RN, with graduates Lonnie L. Wright of Franklinton, Miles J. Page of Oxford, Melissa C. Bridges of Creedmoor and Tracy B. Britton of Wake Forest, and instructor Cynthia McCuiston, RN.

 

All graduates are now eligible to take the North Carolina Nurse Aide I Competency Exam.
