Fourteen graduate from CNA Program at VGCC South Campus

Vance-Granville Community College recently honored 14 students who completed the Certified Nursing Assistant I program on a daytime schedule at the college’s South Campus in Granville County. Their graduation ceremony was held on May 10 at South Campus .

 

South Campus director Derrick Cameron welcomed and congratulated the graduates. Graduating student Alan Manley opened with a prayer. Sherie Kemp-Bruce, RN and Vickie Watkins, RN, instructors for the class, presented certificates to the graduates. Special music was shared with the class, and graduating student Randy Perkinson closed with a prayer.

 

The CNA program graduates included Mahalia Anderson of Louisburg, Michelle Andrews of Stem, Chrystal Bailey of Oxford, Kenneth Crabtree of Franklinton, Vanessa Degraffenriedt of Creedmoor, Sharon Harris of Durham, Deborah Johnson of Stem, Alan Manley of Henderson, Karmanisha Manley of Henderson, Jean Middleton of Butner, Kentra Montgomery of Henderson, Randall Perkinson of Oxford, Shirley Thomas of Oxford and Rebecca Van Hook of Oxford. All are now eligible to take the North Carolina Nurse Aide I Competency Exam.
