VGCC students hold Gospel Festival

The Vance-Granville Community College chapter of the Phi Beta Lambda business student organization will hold a Gospel Festival on Saturday, May 22 at 5 p.m. in the Civic Center on the college’s main campus in Vance County. Choirs, solo acts and praise dance groups from throughout the area will perform.

Phi Beta Lambda is the national organization for college students who are preparing for a variety of careers in business.

The Gospel Festival will serve as a fundraiser for the VGCC Phi Beta Lambda chapter. Proceeds will help pay for student members to travel to Nashville, Tennessee in July for the national PBL competition. They qualified for the national competition by scoring highly at a recent statewide competition .
