VGCC offers Welding course at Warren Campus

Sparks will fly soon when Vance-Granville Community College’s Warren County Campus in Warrenton holds a Basic Welding course. Classes are offered on Thursdays, Feb. 28 through May 1, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Students will learn various aspects of welding, including safety, oxyacetylene welding, electric welding, cutting operations and arc welding. This hands-on course will provide students with the skills and knowledge to weld as a hobby or to prepare for more training to become a certified welder. Both beginners and experienced welders are welcome.

The cost of the class will be $55.
