VGCC Franklin Campus offers Conversational Spanish

Vance-Granville Community College will offer a Conversational Spanish course at its Franklin County Campus starting in January. Classes will be held on Monday evenings, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Jan. 28 – April 7. The Franklin Campus is located on N.C. 56 about one mile west of Louisburg.

“This is a beginner’s class for individuals who may work directly with the Spanish-speaking population, or who are just interested in learning basic Spanish,” said Franklin County Campus director Anthony Pope.

Instructor Nydia Dohnert will emphasize oral comprehension and verbal response skills, including greetings, introductions and descriptive questioning.

The cost of the course is $55.
