VGCC Offers Tax Tips Seminar at Franklin Campus

Vance-Granville Community College’s Small Business Center will present a free seminar, “Tax Tips,” for small businesses on Dec. 17. The seminar will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the college’s Franklin County Campus, located on N.C. 56 just west of Louisburg.

Jess McLamb of Raleigh, president of the Roper Group, will present a variety of tips, including information related to small business taxes, business expenses, different business structures, and recording transactions.

McLamb began her consulting and training business over a decade ago. Since that time, she has trained hundreds of entrepreneurs all over the state on how to start, market and manage their businesses.
