Nurse Aide II Classes Offered at VGCC South Campus

Vance-Granville Community College will offer a Nurse Aide II course at the college’s South Campus in Granville County, October 30 through December 19. Classes will be held from 8:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m., Monday-Thursday.

Registration will be held on October 23 at 3 p.m. at the South Campus, located on N.C. 56 between Butner and Creedmoor.

To register for the course, a student must be listed on the Nurse Aide I registry, have a high school diploma or GED, and have a recommendation from an employer. Graduates of the Nurse Aide II program may find employment at hospitals, nursing homes and home health agencies. Students in this course will learn more advanced nursing skills such as sterile dressing changes and tube feedings.
