VGCC Offers Decorating Classes at Warren Campus

To help area residents celebrate in style, Vance-Granville Community College will offer two decorating classes at its Warren County Campus in Warrenton starting this month. “Holiday Decorating” will be taught on Wednesdays from 1 until 4 p.m., Oct. 18 through Nov. 23. Instructor Dot Overby will instruct participants on making their own floral arrangements and holiday treats.

Another course, “Cake Decorating,” will be held on Mondays from 1 until 4 p.m., Oct. 16 through Nov. 20. Dot Overby will also serve as the instructor for this course, which will allow students to learn how to make professional birthday or wedding cakes.

Both courses last six weeks and the cost for each one is $25. For more information and to register, call the Warren County Campus at (252) 257-1900.
