VGCC Scholarship Endowed in memory of Warrenton man

A new scholarship was recently endowed at Vance-Granville Community College in memory of Jerry Ellington of Warrenton, who lost a battle with cancer several years ago. Lelia Brigham of Henderson, a part-time VGCC art instructor whose late husband worked with Ellington, created the scholarship in his memory. Nurse Aide Class Offered at VGCC Franklin Campus

Vance-Granville Community College will offer the Nurse Aide I (CNA I) course at the college’s Franklin County Campus, starting June 30. Classes will be held Monday through Thursday, from 8 a.m. until 2:30 p.m., and will conclude on August 28.
