VGCC Plans 4-County Open House To Kick Off ‘Race 4 Literacy’

If you or anyone you know is interested in improving adult basic skills, getting a GED, earning an Adult High School diploma, studying English as a second language or special education for adults, you are invited to join Vance-Granville Community College’s winning team.

“Race 4 Literacy” will be observed with open house at VGCC’s Adult Learning Centers on all four of its campuses on Saturday, March 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

VGCC offers the latest technology and super-charged instructional teams to help adult students experience winning educational experiences, and the college wants to share these opportunities with the communities it serves.

VGCC’s main campus is on Poplar Creek Road in western Vance County, the South Campus is on N.C. 56 between Butner and Creedmoor, the Franklin County Campus is on N.C. 56 just west of Louisburg, and the Warren County Campus is on Ridgeway Street in Warrenton.

The public is invited to stop by during Race 4 Literacy Open House and learn about the opportunities for adult basic education that VGCC offers.
