VGCC Franklin Campus Offers Art Welding Course

Vance-Granville Community College will offer a class on “Art Welding” at its Franklin County Campus, located on N.C. 56 about one mile west of Louisburg, starting in April. The course will be taught on Saturdays from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., from April 14 through May 19. Classes will be held in room 206.Students will learn how to heat, bend, arc weld and bray metal into art for the home and garden. This hands-on course will include welding safety and three different welding techniques. The class is taught by certified Welding instructor Russell Wahrman, who has over 25 years experience of domestic and international experience and currently teaches at the Franklin County Campus. The cost of the course is $60.
