VGCC Cosmetology Students, Future Students and Employers to Meet

Vance-Granville Community College will hold an informative expo/career fair for anyone interested in Cosmetology careers on Monday, March 16 from 10 a.m. until Noon in the Civic Center on the college’s main campus. The event is open to the general public at no charge.

Area salons and other businesses have been invited to talk to VGCC students about job opportunities for Cosmetology graduates. The event will also be a chance for anyone to talk to VGCC Cosmetology instructors and to learn more about enrolling in the college’s Cosmetology program.

The Vance-Granville Cosmetology department offers diploma and certificate programs in Cosmetology , Cosmetology Instructor and Manicuring/Nail Technology . VGCC students learn in a simulated salon environment which enables them to develop manipulative skills. Cosmetology courses are available at each of the four VGCC campuses, and the college also operates programs at local high schools.

For more information, contact VGCC Cosmetology program head Tomeka Moss at (252) 738-3357.
