Photography Show Planned At VGCC

The Kerr Lake Art Society and Vance-Granville Community College will sponsor a photography show at the college Civic Center from March 19 to April 16. 

A variety of black-and-white, color and digital photography from North Carolina and Southern Virginia is expected to be on display. The public is invited to view the show from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Fridays. VGCC is located on Poplar Creek Road at Exit 209 of I-85 between Henderson and Oxford. 

Entries for the show are being accepted at the Civic Center from 2 to 4 p.m. on Friday, March 19, and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 20. Cash awards and ribbons will be given for first, second and third places as chosen by judges.

In addition to this photography show, there will be a photography category in the Kerr Lake Spring Art Show in May.
